The IES College of Engineering,Thrissur is conducting a National level Multi fest, "Drishti '12" on 2,3 and 4th of April.
The Drishti '12 is a big budget event of 25 lakhs,first of its kind in a self financing college which is a joint venture of College Union, IEEE,ISTE and NSS Units. where we are providing a mixed bag of Technical,Cultural,Managerial and Fun events and also the Exhibition of Air force,Indian railway,KSEB etc.. We are also organizing Job Fair by well known companies. We are expecting the participation of 2500 students from 120 colleges from all over South India and students from the IITs and NITs all over India....

Creative innovations and solutions for facing current problem as an Engineer
2. WWW. – (Web designing)
The artistic creation in web designing on a given topic
3. WHAT’S THE ANSWER– (Quiz)
Work your brain, shudder your memory, sharpen your senses, embrace yourself in sprit of quizzing
4. CAD MASTER – (civil cad)
A platform to leap in your career in confidence to the competent building design world
5. E-DAVINCI - (circuit designing)
Prepare a ready to use circuit

The budding engineers have the opportunity to share their ideas and knowledge with the right and eminent personalities

17. ROBOTICS
a. Robo Show
We bring different robots of different types and varieties that are made and assigned for particular purposes. If you think, you possess that kind of gizmo that can attract the eyes of public, then bring it to this show. Also we make sure that the show doesn’t go idle. For this we bring robots from across India which is the highlight of this program. We welcome all the curious minds to acknowledge this event.
b. Robo Race
Does your robo have the skill to walk on line like a normal human being? We bring to you the line tracer challenge. Hope your machine reaches the finishing lane first and gives you reasons to smile.
c. Robo Fight
If your machine has the ability to wrestle and enough metal to stand in the arena till the last, if yes; your robo is always welcomed to this event.
CODE BREAKERS
It’s a game where the player uses his skills to break codes and advances to next levels. On one fine evening a college professor was found dead leaving behind some crucial codes leading to murderer. A team of code breakers were called in to break the codes and solve the mystery. Your team is one of those teams of code breakers. Sharpen your brain to solve it.

The highlighted event, that showcases the energy in you. As a team its going to be a thrilling event. Chase the treasure hidden in the scenario and go back home with cherished and sizzling memories.
19. DE-QUBEC
Enlightening the visitors is our prior aim. De-Qubec is a 3d theatre that will sure turn out to be a treat to your eyes. Combined with special sound effects, and exclusive other treatments, this would certainly pull the crowd.
